East Manatee Fire Rescue serves the Lakewood Ranch area in Manatee County. 5 of 10 fire stations are located in the Lakewood Ranch community. EMFR employs 123 personnel to staff 9 fire engines and 2 ladder trucks around the clock as well as providing administrative and fire prevention services.
