About
Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe (WBTT) was founded in December 1999 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to produce professional theatre that promotes and celebrates African American history and experience, engages a broad base of patrons and audiences, supports the development of a dynamic group of aspiring artists and builds self-esteem in youth of color. As we kick-off our 25th Anniversary Season we are celebrating Black Heritage with shows Soul Crooners; Solid Gold Edition, A Motown Christmas, August Wilson's Fences, Five Guys Named Moe and the world premiere of our first ever tap dance revue Syncopated Avenue.
