The East County Observer is weekly community newspaper reaching 90% of the Lakewood Ranch residents thorugh our print publication as well as our online publication YourObserver.com. Founded in 1998, The East County Observer was the first media outlet devoted solely to the area. In fall of 2018, the paper will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The East County Observer is part of the Observer Media Group which is comprised of 10 weekly community newspapers, 2 Business newspapers throughout the state of Florida. The Observer also publishes Season Magazine as well as LWR Life Magazine.
