Job Summary
A faculty member in the nursing programs at SCF, Manatee-Sarasota provides high-quality instruction and supports student success. They commit to ongoing professional development, embrace diversity, and promote a safe, inclusive environment. The role includes teaching undergraduate nursing content, maintaining accurate student records, and demonstrating a professional attitude that fosters student growth and engagement. Faculty members are responsible for preparing course materials, participating in program development, and representing the College in the community. They also contribute to nursing program committees, hold office hours for student interaction, and complete required certifications. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Job Qualifications
Education/Experience: Master’s degree in nursing required, Doctorate in Nursing (preferred) must be eligible for*, or have, a current valid Florida RN license, or Multi-State Compact License.
*Florida RN license must be obtained by hire date.
Recent nursing education teaching experience preferred.
Hours Per Week: 35
Location: Works all three Campuses
Salary: $2000 per 3 ILH
