Healthcare is one of the leading industries in the area with a need for talent and we're hitting the road to visit three locations that are bringing education and innovation in healthcare training to the Ranch!

We kick off the day by witnessing the future of emergency care with Manatee County Government’s nationally recognized EMS Program and get up close with a life-saving drone, cutting-edge telehealth, and their groundbreaking community health initiatives. From sky-high innovations to street-level solutions, they’re redefining medical services! From there, we visit the upgraded and expanded Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine’s Simulation Lab, which is equipped with the latest technology for learning. Then, we’ll tour the two-story, 42,000 square feet Medical Technology and Simulation Center at SCF Lakewood Ranch, where they're training the next generation of nurses. Finally, we’ll end the tour at McGrath’s Kitchen & Cocktails for drinks and appetizers.

Participants will drive their own vehicles from location to location. Our schedule will allow for drive-time between stops. Comfortable shoes for walking are recommended.
