Take Stock in Children of Manatee County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering academically motivated, income-eligible students to break the cycle of poverty through education, mentorship, and post-secondary access. As a local affiliate of Take Stock in Children, established in Florida in 1995, our program provides a unique pathway for deserving students to succeed from middle school through high school and into college or career training.

Through long-term one-on-one mentoring, college and career readiness support, and college tuition scholarships, we equip students with the resources, guidance, and accountability needed to graduate high school, pursue post-secondary education, and achieve lifelong success. Our comprehensive model supports students and families beginning in middle school and continues through their transition beyond graduation, ensuring they are prepared not only for college, but for sustainable futures.
