The ER at Fruitville, an extension of Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, is a full-service emergency department that provides emergency care to those in need 24/7. It is located on the east side of Interstate 75. Features of the ER include:

• Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week
• Care for all ages
• Stabilizing treatment for major conditions such as heart attack and stroke
• Treatment for minor conditions
• Offers a full-service laboratory and radiology services including X-ray and CT
• Staffed by a board-certified or board-eligible physician
• Receives ambulances
• Most insurances accepted.
• Patients needing further treatment will be transferred to Lakewood Ranch Medical Center or another hospital of their choice.
