The Stewardship District’s purpose is to maintain over 25,000 acres within Lakewood Ranch. Bonds fund critical construction and improvements of stormwater management systems, utilities, roadways, and landscaping. These are upheld by an annual fee for ongoing operations and maintenance. The Stewardship District will preserve the quality and standards of the community’s infrastructure into perpetuity.
