Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. is the area’s premier leadership experience for girls. Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Girl Scouting has existed on the Gulf Coast of Florida since 1925. Girls develop their leadership potential through activities that enable them to discover their values, skills, and the world around them: connect with others in a multicultural environment; and take action to make a difference in the world. The council has a membership of nearly 6,000 girls in grades K-12, and more than 2,500 adult members/volunteers.
