SUMMARY:June 2026 YLA Lunch Program - Beyond the Algorithm: Why Human Connection Still Wins
DESCRIPTION:Check-in & Networking 11:30AM-12:00PM\nProgram 12:00-1:00PMWe live in a world where we are more connected through technology than ever before\, yet many people feel increasingly disconnected from one another. Messages are instant\, information is endless\, and digital tools shape nearly every part of how we work and communicate. But as technology becomes more accessible to everyone\, the real differentiator will not be who has the best tools\, it will be who knows how to genuinely connect with people.\nThis engaging and interactive session explores the enduring human-centered strengths that technology cannot replace: authentic connection\, empathy\, adaptability\, and presence. While technology can increase efficiency\, it cannot replicate the impact of a leader who listens well\, communicates with intention\, builds meaningful relationships\, and creates belonging.\nDesigned to challenge\, inspire\, and energize emerging professionals\, this session invites young leaders to consider a powerful question: As technology becomes more advanced\, what does it truly mean to lead as a human being?\nSpeakerSteve Shenbaum\, President & Founder of Game On NationGame On's President and Founder\, Steve Shenbaum has developed his career over the years by working with twelve #1 overall draft picks from the NFL\, NBA and NHL drafts. He's helped train everyone from NASCAR drivers\, to the Pittsburg Pirates\, NY Yankees and our 2019 World Cup Champions US Women's National Soccer Team. LWRBA has partnered with Game On for the past 10 years on its Leadership Academy program (formerly Executive Academy). Leadership Academy follows a six-phase development path that utilizes Game On's training curriculum to help you accelerate leadership skills for today's changing workplace. 2026 Fall classes begin Friday\, August 14!
